Governor Dunleavy introduced a pair of companion bills (HB 135 & SB 131) that would change current Alaska statutes to allow the ASMI to market Alaskan mariculture products. The House version of the bill, HB 135, has been referred to the House Fisheries Committee and now has its first hearing scheduled for Thursday March 27th at 10am. This meeting will introduce the bill to the committee and will provide an opportunity for both invited and public testimony.
