Webinar: USDA’s NAP/ELAP crop insurance programs

The AMA is hosting a webinar about two USDA-administered crop insurance programs — the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) and the Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees and Farm-Raised Fish Program (ELAP).
Shelby Johnson from the USDA Farm Service Agency’s Alaska office, will be presenting on the eligibility of Alaska’s shellfish and seaweed farms, the application process, cost, coverage, and key deadlines. These programs come highly recommended by colleagues at the East Coast Shellfish Growers Association.
